What GPA is required to attend South Tech?
Current requirements are based on specific classes taken, not GPA. It is critical that applicants are on track for graduation and have good attendance and discipline records.

When do I apply?
Apply the semester before you want to begin. For competitive programs, apply by February of your sophomore year.

Which programs are competitive for acceptance?
The programs that fill first vary from year to year. Generally speaking, Automotive Technology, Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Firefighting/EMT, Health Sciences AM, Law Enforcement, and Veterinary Assistant fill quickly.

What else should I do?
Come to an open house. This will allow you to meet the teachers, see the textbooks, and ask questions about the opportunities available to you. This will also ensure that you making a good choice and will be a good fit for a perspective program.
