ROBOTICS ENGINEERING
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot complex electrical, electronic, mechanical, and robotic components used in manufacturing and industry
  • Analyze how things work using the same modern equipment and techniques as electronics experts
  • Design and program robots to compete in the FIRST Robotics Competition
MINIMUM PREREQUISITES: 1 Algebra, 1 Science, 1 Language Arts
ARTICULATION AGREEMENT: Ranken Technical College
ACADEMIC INTEGRATION: 1 credit of Intro to Physics
CERTIFICATION: ETA (Electronics Technicians Association) license
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES: Electrical Engineer, Electronics Technician, Biomedical Technical Electrical Inspector or Technician (Power Generation, Transportation, Commercial & Industrial), Electronic Equipment Installer
